The existing WordPress website was modernized to create a contemporary design and a user-friendly interface. Multilingual functionality was integrated using the Polylang plugin, while Yoast SEO was implemented to optimize on-page search engine performance. As a result, the site is now both technically and visually future-proof, and fully prepared for external SEO campaigns.
Customer Requirements
The client requested a comprehensive modernization of the existing WordPress website to create a contemporary design with a clear and user-friendly interface. The entire graphical user interface (GUI) was to be made fully customizable, allowing future updates and extensions to be implemented easily. In addition, multilingual capability was a key requirement to make the website accessible to an international audience. Another important aspect was to prepare the site in such a way that an external agency could perform in-depth on-page SEO optimization. For this purpose, all relevant elements — such as meta tags, heading hierarchies, image descriptions, and URLs — needed to be easily adjustable and manageable.
Implementation
Multilingual functionality was achieved using the free Polylang plugin, which enables clean and efficient management of multiple language versions within a unified backend. This allows content to be translated, synchronized, and maintained effectively without compromising usability.
