This sub-workflow acts as a centralized Email Agent that other workflows can call whenever email interaction is required. Instead of duplicating Gmail logic across multiple automations, all email-related actions are routed through this agent.
Once triggered, the agent interprets the incoming instruction and decides which Gmail operation to perform. It can fetch emails, send new messages, reply to existing threads, manage drafts, apply or remove labels, and update read or unread states.
The chat model translates loosely structured, natural-language instructions into precise Gmail API actions. This keeps upstream workflows simple while allowing flexible and context-aware email handling. Clear success and error paths make it easy to react or retry from the calling workflow.
